Francesco Mancini: The famous or infamous text right from the, the exulted, is "The necessary sin of Adam" He says it's a liturgical sign if we take it as something more than just being hyperbole. But scodists will push back and say in all those passages, they're talking about the concrete real world where Christ has come as redeemer. And so it makes sense to say that the sin of Adam has been a necessary condition for the way that Christ actually did come.
