The Differences Between Kid a and OK Computer

Kid A is still a rock record for all their efforts to lose themselves, to disappear completely. It's very much a rock album and very much just as OK Computer was. The more electronics they put on, the more it emphasizes where they're actually coming from in some ways. I think Kid A is like their Stanley Kubrick film. It's their chili album. But sometimes that can also make it hard to access, even if you love the record. "It's hard to imagine putting on Kid A at a barbecue"
