Dana Goodyear: The Black Heroes of Surfing want to make women like them visible in the roughly $4 billion surf industry. They formed a collective called textured waves with the goal of encouraging more women of color to surf. But they have to deal with the past, that was encoded in the California surf culture of the 50s and 60s when Mickey Dora ruled Malibu.
