Why the Indian State Both Fails and Succeeds
The state started with this high ground that it is the primary driver of any social change. The Dada binarogy generation, for them, there were two separate problems: Misrule and bad tax policy. And then at some point these two are aligned with each other, right? This is an area of tremendous interest to me because we might not get anything but a conversation on this topic. I'm making a very broad generalization; do you think there's any merit to their narrative?
