Is There a Push to Go Higher Resolution?

When do you think a k t vs and monitors will become fordable and common? What about beyond that? Will resolutions keep getting bigger, or will something new, like vr a r, or even something that hasn't been invented yet, eventually replace screens? My best guess would be three to four years before a now becomes as commonplace four k is now. I don't personally think there's going to be a big push to go higher resolution than eight k,. most likely. And if it gets any bigger, i'm going to have to turn my head to see the screen.
