Trevor: A statement like 90% of what trout eat in the winter as midges is just a very reductionist and an inaccurate statement. The water temperatures have been so warm there, I mean, you're probably having a lot of active small Mayfly nymphs in the system where that typically isn't the case. Matt: Those fish key in on them and they know it's almost like a hatch. It's almostlike a blueing olive hatch.
