The Threat of Ticks in the Country

There's a link between the abundance of ticks and the abundance of deer because deer are the primary reproductive host for the ticks. We've reforested this part of the country, which has led to an abundance of white tailed deer. And on top of that, by fragmenting the forest, we create a lot of edge habitat who love them too.
