The Effects of Change Aversion on Productivity
Change aversion is the notion that like anytime you change something people are gonna be of you know a verse or have negative feelings about it just because it's different. I think for tools as well especially like tools that developers use even small changes to UIs or the API of it can have like massive effects and they're generally not accounted for by businesses well enough. So does this mean we're trapped like whichever version of your software that gets popular are we trapped in that moment? Yeah you can never make any changes ever no I don't think so but the thing is you do have to be sensitive and you do haveto make trade-offs.
