The next thing that has worked significantly for us, i would say, it's the backbone of our growth, was the fact that we are not gate keepers. Treat your audience more like their friends,. Unless defensive, like everybody's out to get you, or they're not going to pay you... That's definitely how you cross boundaries and how people take advantage of you. The other thing i see people responding with sometimes is, oh, i'm sorry. I only reserve that for my paying clients.
