"If we're saying the world needs less energy in a world where billions are energy starved, we're saying just, you know, worse than genocide," he says. "The whole goal is eliminating our impact on nature, not advancing human flourishing." The World Bank and other development organizations have been doing for years to get developing countries into green energy projects that aren't cost-effective or reliable; they end up getting these countries in debt because of this silly virtue signaling.
