How to Define Simultaneity in Physical Space

There's a four-year delay in sending the light signal from one to another. So it becomes sort of an arbitrary thing, whether you synchronize their calendar to be how you synchronize our calendar. This leads to the idea of reference frames and the idea of foliations of space-time. And this whole notion of how simultaneity works and the arbitrariness with which you can choose kind of where their calendar is, relative to our calendar. The same is true across these different threads of history in what we call branchial space, the space of different quantum branches.
