The Future of Security in the Indo-Pacific
Looking ahead 2023 what would you say are likely to be the defining security issues in the year ahead? I think one element that is really interesting to monitor is really the kind of transatlantic response to Ukraine but how that really then manifests within the Indo-Pacific regions and particularly vis-a-vis China as well. In 2022 we've seen a lot of different many laterals be announced whether it is the partners for the blue pacific or the mineral security initiative or an alliance on IU fishing. We still need to see really coming off the ground how these mini-lanarals are going to be taken forward and actually implemented so that they have concrete on the ground change.
