Jumping Back to Chotteronga Is Safer Than Jumping Into Plank
It's much easier to do plank skilfully than chotteronga. Controlling the transitional motion is easier in moving to plank than it is to choteronga, because there's actually less net motion. If you can't control that transition and you jump back to plank and you bounce in the middle and you don't have the corps strength, then step back. Similarly, jumping back to Chotteronga safely, absolutely. It just takes more strength and more control. But if you can do it safely and skilfully, do it. And if you can't, just step back and lower down.
