My Dad's Wartime Memories
Harry warners grew up on a small farm in vris, not far from elder airfield. A couple of german soldiers were billeted at the farm during the occupation. He remembers how he helped his mother pick and throw yellow daisies. One of his last memories of the second world war is seeing german po es taken away after liberation. To this day, yellow daisie remind him of parents who died in may 19 forty five.
