The Android team is working on getting assist available in the Home Assistant companion up on Android. So you can choose Amazon Echo Lady, Bixby or Google Assistant. The goal here is that home assistants want to be able to then say choose home assistants assist. And then that way when you long press the button to activate your assistant it will be there ready to listen to you. Hopefully they can get like a wake word detection. That would be great.
