Is There a Paradigm Shift in Discourse Around Education?

There seems to be this shift in discourse around education away from the language of formation and toward the language of consumption. So I guess my question for you is, is that indeed a paradigm shift or is that just a natural step in the progression of education and whiteness? Maybe we'll start there. Yeah, that's a question I will be pondering as the summer goes on, particularly because I was just helpfully tasked with redesigning one of our core courses.
