And there's too much competition from drones because easily the biggest design cost of an airplane and the biggest investment in training is the pilot. Drones are just better in every way. But beyond that, very old technologies have been very effective hereBecause Russian forces had so long to dig in and to prepare. They didn't have to do anything brilliant.
