Surgical Site Infections After Spinal Fusion Surgery

The decision on how long to treat people often is the shared decision making with the patient and the surgeon. Some fraction, it may be a small fraction, but some fraction of these patients, especially if they had a staff infection, may relapse after we stop therapy. So I think for me, the decisions are really hard because there's no great data to guide our management of these patients.
