The Irish Border After Brexit
The Northern Ireland Protocol focuses on how to manage the Irish border. It was a big issue because leaving the EU means developing harder borders. To get round this, a new border was created in the Irish Sea between Northern Ireland and the rest of Britain. Now there are requirements for goods moving from Britain into Northern Ireland. This is quite an extraordinary thing if you think about it, isn't it? There aren't any other examples in the world of that happening. Here's Katie Hayward from Queen's University meeting businesses affected by the rules.
