What Was the Hardest Part of Coming Out?

I think an element of it is is accepting being an other, excepting being different. You are some one that has a different perspective, or cannot relate to many traditional aspects of life and society. There may be absolutely no shame associated with it, but you can't help but be aware of your otherness when you're speaking about it.
