The Impacts of El Nino on Climate Change

Scientists officially confirmed that an El Nino weather event has begun. The slowing in blowing of the trade winds happens every two to seven years but scientists don't really understand why it happens. It could be the rammed in this of our atmosphere, tropical cyclones can do it and climate phenomena also trigger these periods where the trade winds kind of weaken. But wherever you are in the world, El Nino will likely impact you in some way. In fact, the impacts in the past have been so large that they've helped change the course of history. So for example, there's quite a strong argument that El Nino-related climate stress contributed to the dominance of Europe in the tropics
