Russia's defence minister Soga Shoyu said the US and its allies wish to inflict a strategic defeat of Russia. He added that Washington and its allies are implementing their strategic plan, which consists of provoking other countries into military confrontation with undesirable states. This is classic Russian mirroring, saying others are doing what you are doing in order to throw the element of doubt in there - but also just to muddy the intellectual landscape. And I won't read any more of his nonsense.
