The Laplace Distribution Is a Special Case of the Gamma Distribution
The gamma distribution is actually a special case of the Laplace distribution. The Laplace distribution takes an exponential distribution and kind of like reflects it over the line so it kind of copies it. It could be used as Another form of like a normal distribution, you know, it's got like it has very different properties from the normal distribution but they're both short-tailed.
