The consumer credit market is dominated in terms of balances by mortgages. Anyone with a mortgage and a decent credit score took advantage of the near zero interest rates that are sitting at sub 4%. The homeowners, those that didn't buy in the last six months are probably doing pretty well relative to where they were before. But it's great news if you have a mortgage.
