There is absolutely nothing chronological about the prophecies. Such quatrains from literally any part of the book are fair game when you're trying to connect them to a real historical event. Nostra domis justification for speaking in riddles that are completely of order is because if he was too clear, people would friak out and they would come for the family. This was self preservation. And besides, why throw pearls before swine? When i learned that the prophecies of nostrdamis we're all out of order, it really hurt my ability to suspend disbelief. For me, that seems just a little too loose. But perhaps i'm getting ahead of myself here.
