The Opposite of Micromanagement

I think what makes you cross the line is when you clearly reach into somebody else's area of responsibility and tell them how to achieve that. So I think the opposite of micromanagement is when you give someone complete latitude to succeed or fail. And as a micromanager keeps ownership for themselves, it ultimately leads to an environment where people will wait to be told what to do because they have been shown their failure is not an option.
