How Did You Balance the Positives With the Negatives?
"There wasn't like one clear decisive moment when I planned out the next five years of my life," he says. "I didn't have like hardly any attention on social media or anything." He was approached by friends and families who offered to pay him not to do the race if he wouldn't raise enough money for his application fee. But there were also negative things as well, such as people saying you don't know what you're getting into.
