Policy Intervention in the Technology Industry

The pause is designed to prevent this thing from having full autonomy and agency. There's real concern that it's going to kill its hosts. But do you guys feel that there needs to be any level of intervention? It's like we just invented electricity. Should we get involved with who has access, how fast it evolves? I mean, ultimately, yes. Ultimately, but it's so nascent that we don't even understand what the policy should look like.
