The Importance of a Centralized BI Team

The heart of our conversation that we ended on Tuesday was about does the business own the engineering, the ETL, their data, or is that going to come from the center. I would still lean on the BI side just because I think for a big part of this is you're going to have to invest a lot of resources. And I do think in order to make the business effective, there needs to be a clear handoff between when the central BI team develops tables and things out of their central BI space.
