Poetry and the Pandemic
I wanted to capture the emotionality of this moment. I didn't want to look up and have forgotten what the sunlight looked like at the inauguration, what it felt like to spend another five strayt day in my house without going anywhere. Do you think poetry more broadly is thinking about these things? i see a lot of poetry in my my job. But do you think wrestling with us? Do you see that out there? Oh, i mean, i would love to hear your perspective on this. Well, i'm really excited for folks to get their hands on this new book. I think it's really tremendous.
