The Carstorality of Methadone Maintenance Treatment
Methadone was so strictly regulated that it wasn't going to be palatable to white consumers, nor was it very palatable to pharmaceutical companies. So buprenorphine was brought to market in relationship to this history we're talking about with methadone. And I want to pause and just emphasize the extreme carstorality of this treatment.
