Tel Abu Harera - A New Me of Dating

A new form of dating called accelerator mass spectrometry was used at tel abu hurera to give accurate dates. The site may have been somewhat abandoned at around eight thousand b c e, before a reemergence of success and some definite evidence of advanced domestication of the crops. With the coinciding domestication, the site became fully agricultural and very much can be described as neolithic. Maybe even as many as five thousand people were living there before the abandonment. This would have coincided with the emergence of pottery which would have been essential for transporting yields of crops,. As we know, all good things must come to an end. It appears that the site was completely abandoned
