The Power of a Hundred
I remember pitching up in Washington thinking, Oh my God, you know, nothing's going to happen here. Impeachment seemed to be off the table. And then of course impeachment happened. I have accepted responsibility for what I did wrong in my personal life. And I have invited members of Congress to work with us to find a reasonable, bipartisan and proportionate response. That approach was rejected today by Republicans in the house. They've made it really a referendum about Bill Clinton. The subject of a presidential run didn't even arise because it seemed visible to me. Those were just remarkable years to cover.
