Ecomodern Justice Movement - Is That an Accurate Framing?
The focus of the ecomodernist justice movement is more around equitable distribution of the benefits. Just because a poor person today is much better off materially than their great great great grandfather was doesn't mean that they aren't suffering or aren't poor, he says. The goal is to accelerate and distribute sort of growth, wealth, technology, sort of freedom as opposed to again rolling back the systems that have enabled our very comfortable, wealthy and free modern lives. It's fundamentally not an anti-modernist or anti-capitalist or anti-progress view of justice.
