Smell Is the Most Closely Linked to Memory, Right?

With a really small child, you can start getting them to identify smells that you would never imagine that they could learn. One thing i love to do with violet is tog to the freezer and pick up bags of frozen fruit. And then i open the bag and i let as much air as i can into it. Now all of a sudden, when that poof of air hits her, you see her light up. It was the same smell she smelled just one second ago, but she didn't have a term for it. She didn't even know what to expect.
