Are We Connected to the Gospel?

I don't see an possible way to split out the gospel for escatology. It is tied completely to the biblical narrative that has this ultimate fulfilment when christ comes in power and in glory. And yet, here we are backside of the tracts, you know, not favored by society, not necessarily most educated. How on earth do we see the king come back when the scripture says that it's connected to the gospel going everywhere? The only possible way we do that is if we're empowered by the spirit.
