The Search for Life
The James Webb Space Telescope, or JWST, is a telescope that was launched on Christmas Day after much delay. Its role is really to provide sensitivity to detect exoplanet atmospheres but at much longer wavelengths than we've been able to detect thus far. And so in the case of these m-dwarf planets that might be in their Goldilocks zones, we'll be able to see that. We're salivating, waiting for data to start coming down. It will give us even more information about what these environments might be like and whether life could exist there.
