Hannibal's Elephants Are From Africa

The Romans sent army after army to fight Hannibal. But he crushed them all. In the first battle his elephants stomped all over the Roman cavalry. He then surrounded Roman armies and killed thousands of their soldiers. At one point the road to Rome was open. But Hannibal decided to march past Rome and make friends with other cities in Italy. It was a big mistake because he never got another chance to conquer Rome.
