The Importance of Female Identity in TV and Movies
I think it's one of those things where a lot of young women who are participating in this trend, they're still really young. And yeah, I think when you are so concerned with categorizing your own identity with certain terminology, like girl failure, fem cell, co-cat Bimbo core, you are disallowing yourself to develop like a real human and live like a realhuman life. What I think is the downside is just having these types of labels and simplifying complex characters into being one thing. It ultimately doesn't serve the narrative and completely undermines the point of the show or the point of movie to begin with.
