I don't see why people who choose college degrees that are going to be very difficult given where salaries are to pay off why they deserve a subsidy either. You would do much more good as, as, as Beth Acres points out, there are some like targeted student loan forgiveness things you could do. But this sort of blanket, just give away to a major political constituency of the Democratic Party, I just find profoundly offensive and lawless.
