What Is Benzene and Why Is That Scary?
Benzene is clearly known cancer causing compounds. It doesn't absorb or evaporate in water. And I've heard that they're now putting booms out because the way this areas design, these creeks and rivers, these tributaries run right into the Ohio River. If you get benzene in those waterways, it's a ginormous ecological and health impact potentially for decades.
