The President's Order to Reschedule Marijuana

The president has ordered a review of where marijuana is placed on the same level of drug enforcement as heroin and other drugs. The FDA will never, ever say that marijuana as a whole plant has medical uses because they just won't acknowledge smoking a plant with 500 active substances to be medicine any more than chicken soup is medicine. So it's even been hard to make the case that marijuana has beneficial uses because they're blocking research into it.
