The Tragic Disaster of the Zhengzhou Metro System

Zhengzhou's subway system was shut down after water began to collect in a metro yard and low-lying area of the city. By 6.10 p.m., just over 500 passengers were trapped underground, 500 who noticed that water had begun to pool on the tracks outside their windows. Cell-foam videos of the incident illustrate the elevating levels of concern as anxious humming grows into a crescendo of terrified cries when the water line reaches the windows of the train sliding doors.
