Fugazi were signed to a major label that was starting in indie sort of, you know, majors in drag, starting indie labels. And they got the call 12 hours notice to open for Elvis Costello and suddenly all those doves that have been closed to us were swinging open. So we wound up putting the first record out ourselves and then the second one out through a brand new independent called Armageddon. We didn't really go anywhere, you know,. all kind of the doors swung shut again and the deal faltered.
