The Importance of RSS Feeds

I stopped using Google Reader and dependent on Google reader, but I never actually visit this. It's a read it on Google readers like it's a you read everything in a linear fashion But one of the one of the big things with real reader is that It can be used as a hub for other things that you you connect into it You don't have to use Google reader to to read content through which I actually never do.
