It is said when magazines which don't specialize in stocks, like say Time magazine, Newsweek and others have a front cover article about stocks or commodities. It frequently signals the end of the move in that market and a great time to take the opposite side of the trade. Consider these type of non financial magazines to be a good contrarian indicator when they have their front cover articles.
