Introduction
Polar Sounds is a collection of sound recordings from both the Arctic and the Antarctic. It features everything from animal species like whale, seals, narwhals to man-made sounds such as seismic guns for undersea surveying. They're all recorded by undersea hydrophones over a long period of time using biotic geophones and monochonathropogenic sounds. Rowan Hooper: Let's get into them and then we'll talk about more about the project as we go.
