When you launched optimise, it launched as a consulting business. Then we pivoted to product. We thought that the right way to alline incentives between clients and us would be to do this value based pricing. It turned out that no business of sufficient size can actually sign off on a professonal servaces contract where the actual cost isn't entirely clear up front. Which was a very humbling experience,. In the end, as companies get larger, organizational logic overrules real logic.
