Mossad derk came to power as prime minister on two tickets, nationalizing Iranian oil and electoral reform. The Anglo-Iranian oil company was the biggest overseas asset of the British state. It really had its fingers in every pie right across Iranian society. Iran's workers were like second, third-class citizens living in mud huts while expat British lived in manicured gardens.
