The Second Estate of the French Empire

Historians debate just how many members of french society came from the second estate, with some suggesting the group numbered tween 350 to 400 thousand. The nobility represented somewhere between one and one point five % of the french kingdom. Some rural nobles laid claim to a collection of bespoke rights, which could include a monopoly on the bread oven of the village. And this genetic superiority was justified by greater courage, greater intelligence, greater everything that's what justifies having such a prominent position in the army and government.
